Venous Lake
A Venous Lake is a purplish soft raised lump on the lower lip that does not pulse and occasionally gets bigger and smaller.
What Causes Venous Lake?
It is not completely understood why they occur but they can occur at any age and will stay unless treated. The appearance is caused by blood filling up in an opening under the skin, they vary from 2 – 10mm.
