Sagging Neck

The skin on the neck is usually very thin and gets significant sun exposure.

Unfortunately, it generally doesn’t get the protection that is used on the face, nor the application of various products that would help it heal, gradually this neglect results in the skin sagging.

Assessment of a Sagging Neck

You will be invited to come in for a consultation which involves a careful assessment of the angle between neck and jawline, as well as the degree of sagging. This, together with an assessment of underlying medical conditions, quality of the neck skin and degree of sagging determines what your best options are.

Treatment of a Sagging Neck

There can be both invasive or non-invasive treatments for sagging necks:

Non-Invasive, Non-Surgical Treatments

Combinations of EndyMed, HIFU, CO2 Laser, FaceTite and Morpheus 8 are extremely helpful in early stages. If more wrinkly than saggy, then Profhilo is an excellent option. Also the 8 Point Facelift can be used to tighten a sagging neck by improving the Chin, Jawline or lifting the Cheeks with dermal fillers.

Surgical Treatments

For necks where the skin has significantly stretched, a Mini Face Lift is the best option.
