Bingo Wings

Everyone deposits fat in specific areas, most commonly this is seen as tummy, fat however in others it deposits just above the triceps muscle on the upper arm. Why it accumulates there is not yet known.

How Do I Know If I Have Real Bingo Wings?

May people who come to us for treatment actually have no loose fat that can be removed. Their issue is simply a less than ideally toned triceps muscle.

The test to determine is whether you have actual Bingo Wings is to see if you can feel that the upper arm shakes unduly when you wave goodbye. The shaking can either be due to a triceps muscle that requires toning, or a pocket of fat located on the outside of the triceps muscle.

The next test is to bend your arm to 90 degrees at the elbow and push a wall with the back of your hand so as to tense your triceps muscle. With your free hand pinch your triceps area. If you can pinch more than an inch, we can consider treatment, if you can pinch a handful and your skin is in good condition, you will get an excellent and dramatic improvement with BodyTite.

What Are the Options?

In a person with good skin, BodyTite gives excellent results. If you can’t pink more than an inch of fat, and the skin is smooth and not wrinkly, then Vaser Lipo or Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections are good potential options.

However if the skin is crepe or thin and wrinkly, then an Arm Lift (Brachioplasty) is the best option, but this is a surgical route of treatment.

If you feel you have Bingo Wings and this is something that makes you feel self-conscious, we will invite you in for a consultation with one of our Medical Professional to discuss your concerns, desired results, lifestyle and budget to find the best treatment to suit you!
