Who is this treatment suitable for?

What happens during the procedure?

The procedure is not painful but you may find it slightly uncomfortable. The vein is targeted with the laser which collapses the vessel wall. The vein is then absorbed by the body, leaving much clearer skin behind.

What are the side effects and risks of having face thread veins removed?

Immediately following the procedure you may experience some redness and swelling, and there is a very small risk of bruising.

What results can I typically expect from having my thread veins treated?

This treatment is very effective and we are confident that we can improve the look of your thread veins significantly. We recommend a minimum of two treatments to see optimum results, although this will be discussed with you in your consultation.

Is there any aftercare advice after having my face tread veins removed?

Makeup can be applied to the treated area immediately, if necessary. It is extremely important to apply a moisturizer with SPF25 sunblock and avoid sun exposure on a daily basis to prevent additional sun damage.
