What is microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses fine crystals or a diamond-tipped device to gently exfoliate the skin. It removes dead skin cells and encourages healthy skin regeneration, revealing a smoother, more radiant complexion.

What does a microdermabrasion facial feel like?
Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratching or brushing feeling. It’s not painful, and your clinician will tailor the settings to ensure your comfort throughout the session.
What should I expect after a microdermabrasion treatment?
After treatment, you may experience mild redness or sensitivity, similar to a light sunburn. These effects typically subside within a few hours. Your skin will likely feel smoother and appear more luminous soon after.
Are the results of microdermabrasion permanent?
Results from microdermabrasion are gradual and temporary. Regular treatments are often recommended to maintain improvements and support your overall skincare routine. Your clinician will suggest a personalised plan based on your skin’s needs.
The Process
Pre-Treatment
Before your microdermabrasion session, we’ll assess your skin type and goals. Please avoid active skincare products, waxing, or exfoliation for a few days beforehand, and arrive with clean, makeup-free skin if possible.
Treatment
During treatment, a handheld device gently exfoliates the skin using fine crystals or a diamond tip. Sessions typically last 20–40 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
Post-Treatment
After your session, we’ll apply a soothing moisturiser and SPF. You can return to normal activities straight away, but we recommend avoiding direct sun exposure and active skincare ingredients for 24–48 hours.
Sides Effects & Risks
Temporary redness, mild swelling, or sensitivity are common and usually resolve quickly. Occasionally, skin may feel dry or slightly flaky. We’ll provide tailored aftercare advice to support your skin’s recovery.
