Is the Dermamelan Peel suitable for my skin type?
Dermamelan is suitable for a wide range of skin types and tones. During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin and medical history to ensure it’s the right choice for you.
How long does the treatment take?
The in-clinic application takes around 30–45 minutes. You’ll leave with the peel mask in place, which you’ll remove at home after a set number of hours, as instructed.
Will I need time off work?
Some redness, peeling or sensitivity is common in the days following treatment. Many clients return to normal activities within a few days, though downtime varies from person to person.
How soon will I see results?
You may notice initial improvements within the first few weeks. More visible results typically appear after 4–6 weeks, as skin renews and pigmentation gradually fades.
Is the Dermamelan Peel painful?
Most clients experience only mild tingling or warmth during application. Any discomfort is temporary and manageable, and we’ll guide you through the process to ensure your comfort.

Pre-Treatment
Before your Dermamelan Peel, we’ll carry out a full consultation to understand your skin concerns, assess suitability, and provide tailored pre-treatment advice to prepare your skin safely.
Treatment
The treatment begins with gentle cleansing, followed by the application of the Dermamelan mask. You’ll leave with the mask on and remove it at home after the recommended time.
Post-Treatment
Aftercare is essential. We’ll provide a personalised skincare plan to support healing, minimise irritation, and help maintain your results in the weeks and months that follow.
Sides Effects & Risks
Temporary redness, flaking and sensitivity are common during the first week. In rare cases, irritation or uneven fading may occur. We’ll monitor your progress and adjust care as needed.
Untreated pigmentation can worsen over time
Factors like sun exposure, hormonal changes and ageing can deepen discolouration. Without professional treatment, uneven skin tone may become harder to manage.
