What is Derma FNS Microneedling?

Derma FNS Microneedling is a non-surgical skin treatment that uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries. This process stimulates your skin’s natural healing response, promoting smoother texture and more even tone over time.

What skin concerns can it help with?

Microneedling can help improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores and mild scarring. Your practitioner will advise on what’s achievable based on your skin type and goals.

What does the treatment feel like?

Most people describe the sensation as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to help minimise discomfort during the procedure.

How long is recovery?

You may experience mild redness and sensitivity for 24–72 hours. Most people resume normal activities within a day, although full skin recovery may take slightly longer.

How many sessions will I need?

Many clients notice visible improvement after a course of 3–6 sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Your practitioner will create a personalised treatment plan to suit your skin’s needs.

Pre-Treatment

Before your microneedling session, we’ll conduct a thorough consultation to assess your skin and discuss your goals. Avoid active skincare products (such as retinoids or acids) for a few days beforehand.

Treatment

During treatment at our Nottingham clinic, a precision-controlled device delivers fine needle channels into the skin. This stimulates the body’s natural repair process while keeping surrounding tissue intact.

Post-Treatment

After treatment, your skin may feel warm and appear flushed. We’ll provide tailored aftercare advice to support healing and help you achieve the best possible results.

Sides Effects & Risks

Most side effects are mild and temporary, such as redness, sensitivity or slight swelling. As with any skin procedure, rare risks include infection or pigmentation changes. We follow strict clinical protocols to minimise risk.
