FaceTite Nottingham: The Non-Surgical Alternative to a Facelift

If you are looking for a minimally invasive way to remove unwanted facial fat and tighten loose skin in the lower face and neck, FaceTite offers a clinically proven alternative to facelift surgery. At Zenith, FaceTite is performed by Dr Dinesh Maini and Mr Wareth Maamoun — GMC-registered specialists who helped lead the UK introduction of FaceTite and were among the first clinicians in the country to adopt the technology. Using radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL), FaceTite reduces localised fat and tightens the overlying skin simultaneously, with significantly less downtime than facelift surgery.

What is FaceTite?

Unlike a surgical facelift, FaceTite works through tiny entry points under local anaesthetic — no general anaesthesia, no significant scarring. It suits patients with mild to moderate skin laxity where surgery feels like too much.

For suitable patients, FaceTite can address concerns such as a double chin, jowls, chubby cheeks and a poorly defined jawline - where both excess fat and loose skin contribute to the concern. It is particularly well-suited to patients who are not ready for facelift surgery, or for whom the risks of general anaesthesia make a surgical approach inadvisable.

At Zenith Cosmetic Clinics, every FaceTite treatment begins with a detailed consultation so we can assess your skin quality, facial anatomy and treatment goals before advising whether FaceTite is the right option for you.

1. Pre-Treatment

Before your FaceTite procedure, you will attend a detailed consultation to assess your skin laxity, facial structure and treatment goals. We will talk you through how FaceTite works, which areas can be treated, what results may be achievable, and how to prepare for your procedure. This helps ensure you feel informed, confident and clear on whether FaceTite is the right option for you.

2. Treatment

FaceTite is performed under local anaesthetic using advanced radiofrequency-assisted technology. A small probe is inserted beneath the skin to deliver controlled heat, tightening tissue, stimulating collagen production and reducing small areas of unwanted fat while delivering measurable tissue contraction and fat reduction in a single session, typically one to two hours.

3. Post-Treatment

After FaceTite, it is normal to experience some swelling, redness and mild tenderness in the treated area. These effects usually begin to settle within a few days, although recovery varies from person to person. We will provide full aftercare guidance and arrange follow-up support to help you heal well and feel reassured throughout your recovery.

4. Results

You may notice an early improvement in skin tightness, facial definition and reduction in unwanted fullness soon after treatment, with results continuing to improve over the following 3 to 6 months as new collagen develops and the treated tissues remodel. For suitable patients, FaceTite can create a firmer, smoother and more contoured appearance with less downtime than traditional facial surgery.

    Why Have FaceTite?

FaceTite suits patients with mild to moderate skin laxity and localised fat who want a clinically meaningful result short of surgery. It is most effective when both loose skin and unwanted fullness are present together — treating one without the other typically produces a less satisfying outcome, which a thorough consultation at Zenith will help clarify.

Loose Skin and Unwanted Facial Fat. What Are Your Options?

FaceTite may be suitable for patients with mild to moderate loose skin and unwanted fullness in the lower face and neck, whether this is related to ageing, genetics or changes after weight loss. By tightening tissue beneath the skin, supporting collagen remodelling and reducing targeted fat deposits, FaceTite can help restore a more youthful facial profile without general anaesthesia, significant scarring or the extended recovery associated with facelift surgery.

    Frequently
    Asked
    Questions

We want you to feel confident at every stage of your journey, so here are answers to the most common questions about FaceTite.
    What is FaceTite?

FaceTite combines fat reduction and skin tightening in one session, typically lasting one to two hours under local anaesthetic. Think of it as a precision tool for the lower face — effective where there's both unwanted fat and loose skin, but not a replacement for surgery when laxity is severe.

Am I a good candidate for FaceTite?

FaceTite is ideal for individuals with mild to moderate skin laxity, localised fat deposits, or both — who prefer a non-surgical alternative to a facelift. It is particularly effective for concerns such as a double chin, jowls and loss of jawline definition. A personalised consultation will determine if the treatment is suitable for your anatomy and goals.

How long do FaceTite results last?

Initial results are visible within weeks and continue to improve over several months as collagen production increases. Results typically last 3–5 years. In younger patients with good baseline skin quality, 10 years is common. Longevity is influenced by sun protection, skincare, weight stability and genetics.

    What does FaceTite recovery involve?

Recovery is considerably faster than facelift surgery. Most patients experience swelling, bruising and mild tenderness for 5–10 days. A compression garment is worn for 2–5 days to support the tissue as it settles. Most desk-based patients return to work within 3–7 days. Over-the-counter analgesia is usually sufficient for any discomfort, and every Zenith FaceTite patient has 24/7 access to the medical team throughout recovery.

Will I have scars after FaceTite?

FaceTite entry points are 1–2mm and are placed within a natural skin crease or within the hairline wherever possible. Most heal to be imperceptible, in contrast to the longer incisions of a surgical facelift. With proper aftercare the entry points usually settle invisibly. Your Zenith surgeon will explain the expected healing at your consultation.

Can I have FaceTite if I've had dermal fillers?

FaceTite heat can dissolve existing dermal filler in the treatment area. We advise at least 6–8 weeks between any filler treatment and FaceTite. Fillers can be re-administered after FaceTite once healing is complete — many patients find they need less filler afterwards because of the underlying structural improvement. Always declare every previous aesthetic treatment at your consultation.

    How much does FaceTite cost?

FaceTite at Zenith starts from £3,850. The final cost depends on the areas being treated, the degree of laxity, and whether FaceTite is combined with NeckTite, AccuTite, Morpheus8 or liposuction. A clear, written quote is provided after your consultation — with no pressure and no obligation.
