What do breast reduction scars look like?

The Process

Pre-Treatment

Before surgery, you’ll meet with your consultant to discuss your goals, medical history, and expectations. We’ll explain the procedure, outline any risks, and ensure you feel fully informed and supported.

Treatment

During surgery, your consultant will remove excess tissue, reshape the breasts, and reposition the nipples if necessary. The procedure is carried out under general anaesthetic and typically takes 2–3 hours.

After your operation, you’ll be monitored during recovery and receive personalised aftercare instructions. You'll need to wear a supportive bra and attend follow-up appointments to track your healing.
