What is Cellfina and how does it work?

Cellfina is a minimally invasive treatment that targets the structural cause of cellulite. It works by releasing the fibrous bands beneath the skin that create visible dimpling. Once these bands are released, the skin can smooth out naturally, improving the appearance of cellulite.

How long do Cellfina results last?

Clinical studies show that Cellfina results can last at least three years, often much longer. Because the treatment addresses the root cause of cellulite rather than the surface, improvements are long-lasting and do not rely on ongoing maintenance.

Is Cellfina painful?

Most patients describe Cellfina as comfortable. A local anaesthetic is used to numb the area, so you may feel pressure or movement but not pain during the procedure. Mild soreness, swelling, or tenderness afterwards is normal and usually settles within a few days.

How soon will I see results?

Treatment

Cellfina is performed under local anaesthetic to keep the area completely numb and comfortable. A small, precise device is used to release the fibrous bands beneath the skin that create dimpling. The procedure typically takes 45–60 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.

Post-Treatment

After treatment, mild bruising, swelling, or tenderness is common and usually settles within a few days. Most patients return to normal activities the same day. We’ll provide personalised aftercare guidance and remain available for ongoing support throughout your recovery.

Sides Effects & Risks
