When you start your surgical journey with Zenith Cosmetic Clinics, you will be assigned a personal patient care coordinator who will look after you at every stage of your procedure. They will be your point of contact throughout your journey and will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Your surgical journey with Zenith
You will meet with your surgeon and patient coordinator at your first consultation to assess your suitability for the procedure and to discuss the possible risks and complications. The surgeon will confirm what is expected and you will sign a patient consent form.
You will need to attend a pre-operative assessment between 2-5 weeks prior to your surgery. This is where you will come and meet either our senior nurse or doctor and they will go though your medical history, take your measurements (height, weight, BMI) and perform a blood and MRSA test to ensure you are fit for surgery.
At Zenith Cosmetic Clinics, our patients are at the heart of everything we do. Having a surgical procedure is an extremely personal choice and only you can make the decision to go ahead. We encourage you to take away all of the information, digest it and spend some time really thinking about whether you want to go ahead with the procedure. We are there at every step to answer your questions and offer advice - we want you to be happy with your decision and delighted with your results.
On the day of your surgery, your surgeon will draw on your face or body to confirm the exact size and positioning of any incisions and to guide him during your procedure.
It is important that you stop smoking at least four weeks before your surgery and for four weeks afterwards to ensure you heal as quickly as possible.
You will have a follow up appointment with our doctor or senior nurse to check your wound and make sure you are healing ok. You will also need to attend regular follow-up appointments at the Clinic (Nottingham or London) as advised by your surgeon.
