Lip Fillers

At Zenith Cosmetic Clinics, we offer Lip Fillers which are used to create volume, re-contour or add definition to your lips. Lip fillers and other forms of lip augmentation have become increasingly popular over the years, and are commonly associated with well-known celebrities such as Kylie Jenner; not to mention the range of lip enhancer based lip glosses that have risen in popularity. Consequently, this makes lip enhancement a highly popular treatment here at Zenith, and in other clinics across the UK.

We use Juvéderm® for our lip fillers; a filler made from hyaluronic acid, which is a substance which naturally occurs in the body and is completely harmless, making it one of the best lip fillers to use. Our lip fillers service is available at both our Nottingham and London clinics. Get in touch with Zenith to arrange your consultation with Senior Doctor, Dr Maini today.

What Are Lip Fillers/Lip Injections?

Lip fillers offer a quick and easy solution to add extra volume, plumpness or to enlarge the lips which may be lacking in shape or elasticity. As you age, your lips can become thinner and less defined - lip fillers are a fantastic way to counteract this and make you look and feel younger. At Zenith, our experienced practitioner Dr Maini only ever uses Juvéderm®, which contains hyaluronic acid; a substance naturally occurring within the body and therefore is completely safe. Not only this but due to the experience of our practitioner you can be confident the procedure will not hurt and will leave you with only the highest quality results.

If you are unsure about making the commitment to lip augmentation we also offer temporary lip fillers, where the results last for between 1 and 2 hours. This procedure is ideal for you to assess whether or not you will like the end result. The cost of temporary lip fillers is also redeemable against the overall lip fillers cost.

Frequently asked questions

Are Lip Fillers Safe?

The price of lip fillers depends on how much filler you have, and what exactly you want to achieve. You can find out more about the costs by booking a consultation in either Nottingham or London.

Will I Be Left With A ‘Trout Pout’?

No. Lip fillers have completely changed over the years, meaning you are only left with the final results that you want. The process is gradual, meaning you control how much filler is injected into your lips and you decide on the end results. During your initial consultation, Doctor Maini will sit down with you to decide how best to achieve the end result you want.

Can I Have More Natural Fillers?

Fillers don’t have to make dramatic, highly noticeable differences. It is completely down to you as to how you want your lips to look and feel.

Does Invisalign take longer than normal braces?

No! It’s generally a quick treatment. However, the time your journey takes you is something you’ll discuss with our orthodontist in Nottingham.

When Can I Return To Work After Lip Fillers?

You can generally return the next working day.

Lip Filler Are Otherwise Known As…

You may have heard it being referred to as lip injections, lip augmentation or lip implants.

Can I Smoke After Lip Fillers?

There is no reason why you cannot smoke after your lip filler procedure. However, we would advise you refrain from smoking immediately post-procedure. Yet, naturally, we would discourage you from smoking in order to lead a more healthy lifestyle.

How Soon Can I Wear Lipstick After Lip Injections?

We recommend leaving it around 24 hours before applying any sort of makeover to your lips.

Important reasons not to have Juvederm fillers:

Do not receive JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers if you have a history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), or if you are allergic to lidocaine or the proteins (Gram-positive bacterial proteins) used to make hyaluronic acid (HA) in JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers.

Are lip fillers the same as lip enhancers?

A lip enhancer is more of a general term used for a range of products that plump and ‘enhance’ the look of your natural lips. Lip fillers are a more permanent lip enhancer, compared to temporary alternatives out there such as lip plumping lip glosses. However, cosmetic lip enhancers will never have the same sort of effects as lip fillers.

Are lip fillers the same as cosmetic lip fillers?

Yes, lip fillers and injections are the same thing as cosmetic lip fillers.
