Anti-Wrinkle injections are commonly used to treat different areas of the face.
Botox™ has now been used as a cosmetic treatment since the late 1980’s, revolutionising the cosmetic industry due to their remarkable results combined with very few risks and no recovery time.
Under guidance, they can also be used to treat a variety of other conditions such as hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), severe migraines, an overactive bladder and lazy eye. This treatment is suitable for both men and women over the age of 18.
Recently Botox has been successful in treating wounds after surgery.
What happens before the treatment?
You will meet with our doctor before the procedure, which will help you to feel comfortable and safe. During your initial consultation the doctor will be able to advise what treatment plan they believe is best for you to give you your desired outcome. After your Botox™ consultation you will be ready to book.
What happens during the treatment?
To begin with, your skin will be cleaned and any makeup removed. A fine needle is then used to inject the Botox™ into a small muscle group, located in the target area. A session typically takes no more than 10 minutes and you can get back to normal activities afterwards.
What happens after the treatment?
You can return to normal activities after having your Botox™ but avoid rubbing the treated area, carrying out strenuous physical activities, or drinking alcohol. As part of our aftercare service, we include a free review and top up (if required) two weeks later, so that both us and you are confident and pleased with the results of the treatment.

Who is Botox™ suitable for?
Botox™ can be used on both males and females over the age of 18. A full consultation is recommended prior to treatment to determine whether you’re suitable. For women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, this treatment is typically not advised.
What are the side effects and risks of Botox™?
Side effects are rare but some people may experience some redness or mild bruising at the site of the injection, and very occasionally the area might temporarily ache. If administered by a trained professional, there is typically no pain in the procedure but rather a slight discomfort.
What results can I typically expect from Anti Wrinkle Injections ?
Under professional guidance, we can guarantee you a natural looking, youthful appearance. You’ll start to see the results after about 5 days and the full results will be visible after a week or two. Botox™ effects typically last about three to six months but may last up to a year when used to treat excessive sweating.
How much does it cost?

What happens after the Botox™ treatment?
Botox™ can take as little as 10-15 minutes, it requires no form of sedative or anaesthetic so you can carry on as normal immediately after.
Is Botox™ bad for your face?
The dose used in the anti-wrinkle treatment is extremely low and is therefore considered safe. You should always go to a qualified nurse or plastic surgeon for Botox™ injections to ensure that any health related risks are identified.
What happens if you don’t keep up with Botox™?
The muscles that are out of use after treatment slowly become less relaxed with time.
When will I see the results of Botox™?
Results become visible about 8 days later and the effects last between three and four months.
Why two weeks for the Botox follow up?
This isn’t obligatory. It’s to make sure both you and our Doctor are happy with the end results and can make any adjustments as we see necessary. We wouldn’t do this before, as it can take up to two weeks to see the full effect.
Are Botox™ injections painful?
Botox™ isn’t generally a painful procedure, the needles used for the injections are very small (limiting the pain).
Are Botox™ side effects common?
Side effects are possible for any procedure, however, serious side effects are not common with Botox™.
Are Botox™ injections safe during pregnancy?
It is not recommended to have Botox™ whilst pregnant.
Who can administer Botox?
Not just anyone can administer Botox, only those who are highly qualified and experienced should administer Botox.
Will Botox lift my eyebrows?
Whilst Botox can be used to lift your eyebrows, the effect is generally quite subtle.
How long is recovery?
One of the key benefits of Botox is the minimal downtime required.
How long does Botox results last for?
The effects from Botox injections will last between four and six months.
