Contact us Call us

As the situation with the coronavirus (also called COVID-19) evolves and changes, we will keep this page up to date with the latest information about the virus and what actions, if any, we may need you to take.

The London Clinic is prepared for the potential arrival of the virus, and we are operating as normal, welcoming patients and ensuring they receive the very best care.

Please note: We do not provide testing for the coronavirus at The London Clinic.

The advice from Public Health England and the UK Government changes rapidly, so we recommend regularly visiting the Government’s travel advice website for the most up to date information.

We continue to risk assess all patients attending Inpatient and Outpatient treatments. Our Customer Service teams are also calling patients the day prior to their treatment to check their status, if they’ve visited any of the locations impacted by COVID-19, or have any of the symptoms.

1. If you believe you have been in contact with someone who has been confirmed as having the coronavirus, please:

  • Stay at home, and avoid contact with others
  • Contact NHS 111 – they will provide advice and next steps

2. If you develop any of the symptoms connected to the coronavirus, as shown above, please:

  • Stay at home, and avoid contact with others for seven days from when your symptoms started
  • Use NHS 111 online to check your symptoms
  • Only ring NHS 111 if your symptoms become severe

The NHS is the best place to seek advice and support if you believe you have the coronavirus, while their Stay at Home Guidance provides advice and information on self-isolation.

If any of these three situations apply to you, or to a family member, to ensure the safety of other patients and our staff, please do not come to any of our buildings. Instead, follow the advice provided above, and inform us that you are unable to make your appointment or treatment.

Whether you are in one of our buildings, at home or at work, we advise that you take the following additional precautions to reduce your risk of getting or spreading the coronavirus.

The World Health Organisation explains more about the virus and the precautions you can take to protect yourself in this short video.
