How Do I Know If I Have Rosacea?

Rosacea usually presents with red patches and veins on the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, more so on the central areas of the face. Patients usually state that the red patches/facial veins are made worse by alcohol, spicy foods, chocolate, cheese, stress, strenuous exercise and exposure to sunlight.

The redness seems to progress with small pustules appearing that cause little scars and some patients notice their nose enlarging and becoming more bulbous. Rosacea can also cause redness of the eyes.

What Is the Best Treatment for Rosacea?

The most important point about Rosacea Treatment is that it needs to be maintained and regular. If you stop your treatments the disease will just start again. Unfortunately there is currently no known cure for Rosacea.
